Hybrid Players (Multiskill)
The engineering behind the most decisive players on the market
1. What is a Hybrid?
They are players who master two or more main skills. Unlike "monoskills," a hybrid contributes to several sectors of the pitch simultaneously.
Example: A Midfielder with Playmaking (14) + Passing (10) + Defending (9).
2. Market Value
They are the most sought-after assets. Their price doesn't just add skills, it multiplies them.
A well-trained hybrid can generate millions of euros in profit compared to a standard player.
3. Strategies to Build Them
🔄 Cycle Training
Keep your core group of youngsters for several seasons and switch training focus every 2-3 years (e.g., Defending → Playmaking → Passing).
🧬 Secondary Skill Base
Sign 17-year-old "raw material" that already comes with "Passable" (6) levels in skills you don't intend to train.
4. Elite Hybrid Archetypes
TDF
Technical Forward
Scoring + Playmaking + Passing. A "false 9" who creates the game.
The Iniesta
Complete Winger
Winger + Playmaking. Allows tactical flexibility without losing efficiency.
The Piqué
Offensive Defender
Defending + Playmaking. Possession control from the backline.
5. The Multiplier: Youth Academy & Loyalty
A hybrid's performance explodes when they are a product of your own academy (Homegrown):
- +1.5 skill levels bonus across all skills at maximum loyalty.
- A homegrown player trained by you will always outperform a market signing of the same cost.
