Initial Capital and License
When you receive your team, the budget is locked. It is imperative to complete the Manager License challenges (set lineup, rename stadium, check finances).

Success in Hattrick is a long-term project. Plan, train, and your TSI will rise.
Skills and Combat Bonuses
Every player has 8 skills (scale 0-20, from "non-existent" to "divine"). Stamina is vital to avoid performance drops in the second half.

The "Homegrown youth player"
A youth player who stays at the club can perform up to 1.5 levels above their actual skill.
Training
- Total Focus: Choose a single skill (Goalkeeping, Defending, Playmaking, or Scoring) and stick with it for at least 2 seasons.
- Intensity: Always at 100%. Allocate 10-15% to Stamina.
- 90-Minute Rule: A player only receives 100% training if they play 90 minutes/week in the trained position. The Wednesday friendly is sacred!
Strategy and Midfield
Midfield dictates who gets the chances. The 3-5-2 is the most popular formation to dominate with 3 inner midfielders and 2 wingers.
Specialties: Quick, Head, Technical, Powerful, or Unpredictable can generate extra goals.
Economy and Debt
Safe limit: -€200,000.
Bankruptcy warning: -€500,000.
Margin: 2 weeks to rectify.
The Stadium
Golden rule: Capacity = 20 times the number of members.
Mix terraces with covered seats (for the rain).

Youth System
1. Scouting Network
Simple: One click per week, one random player. Weekly investment can be €0, €5,000, €10,000, or €20,000.
Maintaining a constant contribution allows you to raise your network level: a higher rank significantly increases the probability of finding young talents with useful skills for the first team.
2. Youth Academy
Complex: Full management of a youth team (ages 15-18). Investment: Fixed cost of €5,000/week for the academy, plus an additional €5,000 for each active scout (up to a maximum of 3).
